m the moment Dan and Kathryn Wunrow gave their lives to Jesus Christ over forty years ago, they’ve known of God’s specific call upon their lives to be sold out for Him.
Dan grew up in a Christian home, the son of a Lutheran minister, but it wasn’t until he gave his life wholly to Jesus, at the age of 16, that he began to grasp the reality of a God who loved him and had a plan for his life.
Dan is a graduate of North Central Bible College in Minneapolis. He served as the executive director of South Dakota Right to Life from 1991 to 1999. During that time South Dakota became known as the most pro-life state in the nation with passage of no less than 10 life-affirming laws protecting the unborn, those with disabilities and the elderly, resulting in a drop in abortions by more than 40%! Dan has also been an ordained minister since 1992.
Kathryn’s personal testimony is confirmation of the power of Jesus Christ to deliver and change a life destroyed by sin. One night in April 1980, at the age of 21, while dying from an overdose on drugs, she experienced the frightening reality of an eternity in Hell. Kathryn is a graduate of Global University and is also an ordained minister.
Dan and Kathryn were married in 1982. Although several doctors said they would never be able to have children, God miraculously blessed them with three children, Joy, Nathan and Jenny. All three are married, with a total (so far) of six granddaughters and three grandsons!
In 1999 Dan & Kathryn founded the non-profit ministry, “HIS Ambassadors to the Nations”. Their passion is to “prepare the way” for the coming of the LORD by: calling Christians around the world to intimacy with God and unity with each other, and by preaching the Gospel as missionary-evangelists.
Dan & Kathryn have ministered extensively in the United States and 131 nations, in churches, Bible schools, YWAM bases and prisons. God has used their teaching and prophetic gifts to pour out His refreshing water and shine His light in very dry and dark places. They have not only seen individual lives transformed by God’s power, but churches and communities have been brought into greater freedom. Glory to GOD!
